The main objective of AERNA is to promote the exchange and improvement of knowledge, in order to facilitate the scientific work of its members and the decision-making process by social groups and public administrations related with the environment and the economy. For this purpose the Association organizes, among other activities, conferences, seminars and courses.
VIII AERNA Congress (2018)
Madrid will host the VII AERNA Congress. The congress will be organized by the Institute for Public Goods and Policies (IPP) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), in collaboration with Spanish Association for Energy Economics (AEEE), the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
The congress will be held in Madrid, Spain, from September 3 to September 5, 2018.

AERNA Courses / Seminars
Madrid will host the II Workshop on Game Theory and Environment will bring together researches affiliated to the AERNA Working Group on Game Theory and Environmental and Resource Economics
The Workshop will be held 4-5 September , 2017.
The I AERNA Workshop on Game Theory and Environment will bring together researches affiliated to the AERNA Working Group on Game Theory and Environmental and Resource Economics and invites submissions of papers that deal with environmental and resource economics problems using any of the branches of Game Theory. Theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome, including, but not limited to, coalition formation, dynamic games, bargaining, behavioral economics and experimental economics. Although completed papers are welcome, the Workshop encourages particularly the submission of ongoing research or papers which are not completely finished. The format of the meeting (with about one hour per presentation) will allow extensive discussions about each one of the papers accepted. Submissions by PhD students are particularly encouraged.
Place and Date: Madrid, 7-8 September, 2015
Fees: There is no registration fee. Lunch, soft drinks and coffee will be served during theworkshop free of charge. Each participant is supposed to cover the remaining own expenses.
Grants: PhD students can apply for the Travel Grant offered by the Institute for Public Goods and Policies (IPP). The Grant will cover travel and subsistence expenses for one PhD student, with a maximum of 300 Euros (please attach a proof of your PhD Student status to your submission).
