We are inviting original papers in all areas of environmental and natural resource economics for presentation at the VIII Conference of the Spanish-Portuguese Association of Natural Resources and Environmental Economics (AERNA), organized by the Institute for Public Goods and Policies (IPP) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), in collaboration with the Spanish Association for Energy Economics (AEEE), the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). The conference will be held in Madrid, Spain, on September 3-5, 2018.

On September 3, there will be a pre-conference Workshop on International Environmental Agreements, organized with the support of the Fundación Ramón Areces. Papers submitted to the Workshop will have more time allocated if selected, and will be considered for the conference if not selected for the Workshop.

Full papers (both for the Conference and the Workshop) can be submitted from December 1, 2017, until March 2, 2018, through the Conference Maker platform on the following link:

Each submission should be a single PDF file with a maximum size of 3MB.

The official language of the Conference is English, thus papers in English are preferred. Papers in Spanish or Portuguese will be accepted but they will be assigned to non-thematic sessions.

The final version of the program will be available on the conference website on June 30, 2018.
